Parts of Medicare Insurance

Hospitalization through medicare
Part A—Hospital Insurance

Part A helps cover inpatient care in hospitals, skilled nursing facility care, hospice and home health care.

Doctor coverage through medicare
Part B—Medical Insurance

Help with coverage for: Doctors and other health care providers, Outpatients care, Home health care, Durable Medical Equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, etc), Preventative services (screenings, vaccines and wellness visits)

Medicare Advantage
Part C—Medicare Advantage

A Medicare-approved plan from a private company that offers an alternative to Original Medicare for your health and drug coverage. These "bundled" plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D.
